Remember when the world was your playground? It was never about exercise. It was about playing. It still is. The driving theme behind our fitness training here at The PlayGround is PLAY. Based on our Fitness Director's book Duh. The Workout- Get in the Best Shape of Your Life by Acting Like a Child, The PlayGround offers programs for adults and children that center around movements, activities and games associated with things young children do every day. We feel that it is important to focus less on toning individual muscles and more on the process, the joy and the social component of group play. The exercise programs are safe, demanding and bio-mechanically sound, but our primary objective is to make our adult members feel a bit of nostalgia as they hop, roll, sweat and laugh their way to a lifetime of regular exercise and good health.
